Weekly Bulletin for the Week of Sunday, September 21, 2025
Beloved Members and Friends of St. Patrick,
Thanks to our members, catechumens and visitors who came out this past weekend. We continue to hold services at 547 Newnan Street. There’s parking in the back and at the law office to the right.
We will have Catechism class this week at 5:00 Saturday evening, followed by Great Vespers at 6:00. After that, on Sunday, we will have Matins at 9:00 followed by Typica led by Fr. Dcn. Stephen. The feast this week is the the 15th Sunday after Pentecost, the Sunday After the Exaltation of the Cross, and the Leavetaking of the Exaltation of the Cross. You may read more about this festal period, one of the Twelve Great Feasts of the Church year, here:

We will NOT have Choir practice after Vespers on Saturday evening. Please see our choir director, Reader John Childs, if you would like to participate in future choir practices, which should resume the following Saturday. For those interested in learning the basics of reading music for choir, please check out this YouTube video:
Coffee hour will follow the Divine Liturgy on Sunday. Donations to offset the cost are much appreciated. Catechism class will resume with the final portions of Salvation History. Please feel free to read ahead here:

Our young adults have helped to organize a new Orthodox Christian Fellowship chapter at the University of West Georgia. Thanks to everyone who participated in making this a reality.
We have various things that need to be done around the Mission, and are seeking volunteers to help. There is too much to list here, but our needs include set up and takedown, meal preparation and setup, and other odds and ends. Please see Fr. Dcn. Stephen, Reader John Garner, or Reader John Childs if you would like to help out.
We look forward to seeing everyone this coming weekend.
